Detox Diet - Second ...

today everything went allright, Pixi reports from her Detox Day 2. But I have to confess that I have had four cups of coffee! Otherwise I couldn't have made it. But ... now I take coffee decaffiné, without caffeine, so I give myself a Pass anyway!

At about 10 o'clock this morning I picked up Mem and we drove to Ulriksdal's Castle Garden. Mem wanted to buy support to her peonies and I green hempcord for the flowers in my garden. It was REALLY NICE out there. Sooo beautiful!!! We bought mallows and giant bluebells and a very special stitchworth flower och I bought a beautiful turquoise flowerpot as a late birthday gift to Mem (turquoise is her colour at the moment).
And we had a light lunch at the Castle café. Sandwiches with chèvre and green salad and walnuts. Instead of butter, it was French Dressing on the bread. A good Idea! But the sandwich was huge, mostly bread and not so much "food" in between, so I started to think about that. Why does it have to be this way in Sweden, when the Danish sandwiches, the smörrebröd, are the other way around - much "food" and lesser bread. Mem and I discussed it, and we concluded that the Swedes are more greedy than the Danes. Bread is cheaper than what you put on the sandwich, and of course the restaurants want to keep their budget. Or could it be based on tradition? That the Danes are gourmets, while the Swedes in general are still learning how to eat well? Anyway, the bread, although very OK, was too much, and I left it to the birds ...
I treated Mem to a a birthday cake. And myself to a cup of cappucino.

After Ulriksdal we continued to the shopping mall Västermalmsgallerian. And we didn't get back home until 3 o'clock. And I had my third cup of coffee before I went to the gym for the Pilates.
We were only seven people taking the class in a huge room with aircondition. It was cooler here than outside. And I was really proud of myself getting there!
